Rainbow Cake and Some Photo Booth Shots

A few weeks ago I was reading Emma's from scratch blog and thought this cake that she found was so amazing! I had to show Zach...and of course...he wanted to try and make it. So, last weekend, he experimented and this is what he came up with. Not quite the same, but still pretty cool!

We had so many fun photo booth pics from last weekend that I thought I'd share a few more.
My mom and sister, Erin.
I think Erin and Zach had the most fun...the other high school students were a little too cool for this...

More photos here.

Thanks guys! All it is are 2 boxes of white cake mix divided into sixths (one of the layers didnt turn out) and then dyed their seperate color with food coloring and baked for like 8 min, then put together with icing. I do suggest vanilla over white cake though, as the flavor will be better. And remember to grease your pan, otherwise you may loose a layer like we did!
